The person behind the dashboards.
I’m Alex Pagani, an Atlanta-based paid media consultant. For eight years I’ve run campaigns for schools, multi-brand retailers, B2B software companies, home services businesses, and more.
Pagani Digital is just me. No account managers, no handoffs, no junior buyer learning on your budget. The person you talk to on the intro call is the person inside your ad accounts every week.
The short version
Running since 2018, with freelance engagements from $5k to $250k per month in managed media across B2B SaaS, real estate, private education, and more.
Eight years and $10M+ in lifetime managed spend across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and programmatic. That total spans my freelance clients and my work inside larger organizations.
Google Ads (Search and Display), Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Apple Search Ads.
Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, DV360, StackAdapt, YouTube, CTV, OOH, and Looker Studio for the live dashboards.
Where the toolkit comes from
Sharpened inside larger organizations. Applied to yours.
Scope: in-house and agency seats, not freelance projectsI’ve also held in-house and agency seats, and I scope that work separately from my freelance projects on purpose: those campaigns were team efforts inside larger organizations, with bigger budgets and more hands involved. They’re on this page because the toolkit transfers.
- Led paid search strategy for BizLibrary, a B2B SaaS company: doubled total conversions, lifted conversion rates 30%, and delivered leadership-facing reporting that grew the channel’s budget.
- Paid Media Manager at 22squared: strategic programmatic campaigns (display, native, video) for Toyota, contributing to a 10% year-over-year CPL improvement.
- Growth marketing at Figure, a fintech: B2B lead generation at CPLs 50% below benchmark, plus the lead scoring frameworks behind it.
- Agency-side growth media work for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (a 300% increase in subscriptions at an 85% lower CPA) and Maaco (a national full-funnel program spanning search, social, programmatic display, CTV, and traditional channels).
Why this practice exists
I started Pagani Digital in 2018 and I’ve run it through every chapter since: in-house seats where I owned the pipeline number, agency seats where I planned media at national scale, a fintech growth team where speed and compliance had to coexist. Each chapter sharpened the practice.
Across all of them I kept watching the same movie: strategy decks nobody executes, monthly PDFs nobody reads, and fees that scale with headcount instead of results.
Pagani Digital is my answer to that. One senior operator, a live dashboard you can open at 2 a.m., and recommendations that start with your unit economics, not with whatever platform is paying out conference sponsorships that quarter. I’ve defended budget lines to leadership, inherited other vendors’ messes, and read plenty of reports that answered everything except “so what?”
I built this practice to be the vendor I always wanted to hire.
How I work
You see what I see, always.
If the numbers say don’t spend yet, I’ll tell you. That’s literally why the Budget Recommender exists.
Programmatic (DV360, StackAdapt), CTV, YouTube, Reddit, OOH. Bought like a media planner, measured like a performance marketer.
My partnerships last because they are beneficial relationships, not because you’re contractually stuck with me. If needs change, we can part ways at any time.
The human part
Some details about me as a person, since that’s more fun than being all-business: I grew up between South Florida and the Netherlands and I’m a citizen of three countries!
When I’m not working on campaigns, I’m a huge fan of cooking food from around the world, playing video games on my PC, and attempting PRs at the gym.
